DC Power Supply Assembly

The DC Power Supply comes in 110V and 220V versions. The dual-bin printers use a different power supply than the single-bin printers. Power supplies have been manufactured for Canon by a variety of Japanese companies. Each of these has a different part number.

The table below lists the parts most often found in the various models. Other versions will usually work as long as they are for the right number of trays and correct voltage.

Special Notes

Power supply Part No. RG1-0951-XXX and its 22V counterpart will smoke when connected to the new version DC controller (RG1-2706-XXX). These power supplies are common in older SX-based printers, such as the LaserJet II. The new DC conrollers are commonly found in later production of the LaserJet III.

SX, TX, and RX power supplies all use the same fuses.
